Missed Call Alert (MCA)
The Missed Call Alert (MCA) allows Operators to provide end-users with an easy to use call logging and notification system, for calls received when the called party was not reachable.
The MCA uses SMS to inform called parties of calls missed whilst they are not reachable. The MCA also uses SMS to inform calling parties when called parties become reachable. End-users can modify the text sent to the calling party as notifications and can also control the number of the mobile phone that the missed call log notification is sent to.
The Operator benefits from the use of MCA by significantly increasing call completion substantially. A further increase in Network Operator revenue can be achieved by using the MCA as a platform for push advertising, advertisements being included in the Short Message notification messages from a pool, selection being on a round-robin basis.
The Mobile Arts MCA is compatible with all GSM, UMTS and CDMA networks and provides a comprehensive set of features, such as:
